IPSWICH – After surviving a 2-day, 8-6 marathon win over arch-rival Manchester-Essex (14-8), the number one seed Ipswich High School girls’ lacrosse team (19-1) faces 2-time defending D4 state champion and number 3 seed Dover-Sherborn (18-6) for the MIAA Girls’ Lacrosse State Championship on Saturday at Babson College with game time set at 2:30 p.m.
The usual cast of characters sparked the win over Manchester-Essex, and Tigers coach Allison Tivnan is hoping her team has enough left in the tank to prevail on Saturday.
