MARBLEHEAD (Video – Photos) #7 Marblehead defeated #23 Milton 16-8 in a MIAA D2 Boys Lacrosse round of 16 game. Next up for the Magicians is a trip to the cape to take on # Nauset in the round of 16, possibly Sunday or Monday. Marblehead broke out to a 9-0 at halftime. Milton came out of halftime and scored four straight goals to make the score 9-4. Marblehead would end the run with 2:35 to play in the third quarter when Charlie Grenier netted a goal (10-4) Marblehead was led by a six goal game from Baxter Jennings. With the score 10-5 Marblehead early in the fourth quarter the Magicians scored four fast goals in a span of just under two minutes. Jennings scored two of his six goals during that two minute window. This week Connor Cronin broke Marblehead’s single season points record.
