D2 Marblehead 8, Hopkinton 4 - Marblehead jumped on top in the first with 1 run and added four more in the second to take 5-0 lead. Drew Whitman battled for the Magicians going 4 2/3 innings givein up 2 earned and 3 overall. Hopkinton didnât go away though and keep tacking a run on in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth but Marblehead padded their lead in the 5th with 3 big runs. Chris Cannuscio came in and went the final 2 1/3 innings giving up one unearned run for the save. The Magicians will now travel to Westfield to face the 20th ranked Bombers on Thursday at 3:30 pm.
