NORTH READING – North Reading High School girls’ lacrosse coach Matt Costello could not be prouder of his Hornets opening round win in the D3 MIAA Girls’ Lacrosse Tournament against Cardinal Spellman (11-9) by a score of 14-9 on Saturday. Led by mostly by the senior captains, the Hornets featured 7 different goal scorers.

North Reading (9-10) awaits the winner of Monday’s matchup between number 1 seed Newburyport (16-2) and Auburn (8-13), ranked number 32.
