BEVERLY (Podcast) The race is on for Mayor of Beverly. This week former Beverly city councilor at large Paul Guanci took out papers to run for mayor. Current mayor Mike Cahill is a candidate for reelection. In this podcast Guanci tells listeners that this was the right time in his life to run for mayor. Guanci is owner of Super Sub and Casual Catering located on Cabot Street in Beverly, a business that he has run for nearly four decades. Guanci was often the top vote getter among the councilor at large candidates. Cahil has won five straight two-year terms for mayor.
