SALEM / DANVERS (Podcast) Salem Academy Charter School Athletic Director Drew Betts will be taking
over the Danvers High Athletic program for the 2023-24 school year. Betts has held his athletic leadership position in Salem since 2011. The Danvers schools made that announcement last week. Betts currently also serves as Co-Director of the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization since 2012. Betts is originally from Connecticut, following his graduation at Endicott College he has stayed on the north shore. Betts, his wife, and his three children live in Wakefield. In the podcast interview Betts shares details on the Danvers position and also shares athletic updates from SACS.
