Podcast / Video – St. Mary’s Girls Basketball Back to State Championship Game – Hear from 3 Seniors and Coach

LYNN (Video – Podcast – Roster) #1 St. Mary’s, the defending state champions, will be taking on #3 Bishop Fenwick Saturday at noon at the Tsongas Center in Lowell for the MIAA D3 girls basketball state championship. The two league rivals met twice in the regular season with the Spartans winning both games. St. Mary’s (22-2) has won back-to-back state titles while Fenwick (17-7) last won a state title in 2016. Our website will have score updates during Saturday’s game as well as postgame interviews from Lowell. The interviews below with coach Jeff Newhall and the team’s three leading seniors were recorded following the team’s Thursday afternoon practice. Complete roster is posted below.
