The Cityof Salem will present the preliminary design for the second phase of renovations at the Salem Willows. In this phase of work, the City is focused on restoring the northeast tip of the park, which runs from the landward connection to the pier down to the end of the tree allee and across to the historic gate. The redesign will prioritize pedestrian circulation, accessibility, resiliency, and will tie-in to the Pier Replacement Project.
The City, along with its Landscape Architect, will present the preliminary design, outline project constraints, review the estimated project timeline, and address questions and comments from the public. All are welcome to attend and provide feedback. Spanish language interpretation will be provided.
