LYNN – On the strength of goaltending and defense, the St. Mary’s girls hockey team has compiled 13 shutouts, allowing but 15 goals in 22 regular season games. According to coach Frank Pagliuca, the Spartans (21-1-0), number 1 seed in the MIAA D1 girls tournament, have plenty of weapons on offense, making it difficult for opponents to zero in one or two players.
