Last week, Team Cruz was reunited at the Salem Mayoral Forum hosted by Salem State University At the end of the debate Hannah and I ran into our former rock star campaign interns Billy and Nora. So good to see them both, and thrilled they are remaining civically engaged.
Special thanks to my friend Mr. Frank Viera for inviting me to speak to his classroom of multilingual students at the Marshall Middle School who are engaged in the Generation Citizen civic program about a bill, An Act Relative to Student Voice
I imparted onto the students that at times they may feel like they are passengers in life. That’s how I felt. However, my mentors helped me see that I had active role to play in shifting my mindset and steering my life towards my vocation.
Thank you @repsmitty34 and @MindyForMA for organizing this important cause. https://t.co/1hn5VygY5X
