SALEM (Podcast) Last month 15 year Salem Ward One City Councilor Robert “Bob” McCarthy was elevated to “Acting” Mayor of the City of Salem following Kim Driscoll’s resignation to become Lt. Governor. McCarthy later in the month announced his candidacy to seek the office in the approaching special election. The primary election is March 28th to be followed by the May 16th general election where the two finalists will faceoff. This interview is the third of five scheduled interviews with the candidates that will appear on the March primary ballot.
