WINTHROP – A lot of toner has been used writing about the Holmes triplets, Mia Norris, Talia Martucci and the rest of the high-powered Winthrop High School girls’ offense. But the Vikings (16-0-0) defense has allowed only 13 goals in 16 games, and coach Anthony Martucci points out it starts with senior captain Abby Holmes, who is complemented by a terrific supporting cast.
