WINTHROP – The Winthrop Vikings are seeded number 2 in MIAA D4 hockey with a record of 13-2-1. They have scored 74 goals and allowed but 25. Senior captain Peter Silverman is the team’s leading scorer with 21 goals and 17 assists. Head coach Dale Dunbar is using the week off to prepare his team for a rematch with the Gloucester Fishermen (9-4-1) Saturday at the Larsen. The first game ended in a 2-all tie.
