DANVERS – For the third time in 4 years, coach Brian St. Pierre’s (9th year, 71-28) St. John’s Prep Eagles (11-2) are Division 1 State Champions, knocking off Springfield Central with a 13-0 shutout. While the complete shutdown of Central’s offense (that had scored close to 600 points this season) was a surprise to many, Coach St. Pierre, his staff, and his team knew it could be done. And, they did it!
