LYNN (Video – Photos) KIPP Academy football defeated Lynn Tech 54-48 in the Thanksgiving eve matchup at Manning Field in Lynn. KIPP quarterback Juan Setalsingh won this week’s Harrington Trophy North Shore Football Player of the week award for this performance leading his Panthers by throwing 5 touchdown passes to two of the team’s top receivers: Monel Castro (3) and Vic Mafo (2). Setalsignh passed for 413 yards (21-35). In addition, it was Setalsingh who rushed for a 10-yard touchdown for the game winning score on a 4th and goal run. KIPP will face Hull Saturday morning at Gillette Stadium in the MIAA Division 8 super bowl.
