LYNN (Podcast – Video) #3 St. Mary’s (9-1) will take on #2 Rockland (7-2) Friday evening at Walpole High School (5:30 p.m.) in the MIAA Division 6 state semifinal game. St. Mary’s is coming off wins over Archbishop Williams (37-13) and Lynnfield (20-6). Rockland’s two playoff wins came against Seekonk (48-22) and Abington (28-0). The Spartans played without running back David Brown last week as he has been recovering from an ankle injury sustained in the Archbishop Williams game. Brown is expected to play on Friday.
