Lynn Police – It was an emotional Friday morning as Lt. Larry Wentzell attended his final roll call after 34 years with the department. Lt. Wentzell served in many roles during his career including the DTF & Juvenile before finishing as the CO of the 3rd Div. We wish you all the best in retirement!

Essex Fire Department – EFD trained this week on auto extrication focusing on the use of lifting air bags that were recently purchase using a generous donation from a local family. Thank you to Northeast Rescue Systems for the training and Tally’s for providing the vehicles.

City of Newburyport – Department of Public Services is overseeing the installation of a new salt shed at DPS Headquarters, which will triple storage size. Thanks to DPS for taking on this project which will greatly enhance our ability to maintain our roads in the winter.
