Peabody Institute Library – Join us for Animal Storytime at the South Branch Library, presented by the MSPCA of Boston! This is an interactive program for children ages 4 to 8 and their caretakers in which they learn how to be gentle and safe with animals. An animal may be present for the children to pet.

Wakefield Athletics – A big shoutout to field hockey as they beat Melrose, 5-0, up at Landrigan Field! Grace Seabury netted all 5 goals for the Warriors and Jillian Schwartzberg recorded her first career shutout.

Danvers Athletics – Boys soccer grabbed a 4-1 win at Winthrop tonight!

Peabody Volleyball – Peabody with a 3-1 win over Danvers. Next up…home game 5:30 Friday vs North Andover!

Manchester-Essex – Golf: FINAL – The Hornets def. North Reading 120-112 at home at ECC! Sam Athanas led the way with 25 points for the Hornets. Gray West was close behind with 23 and Jack McCavanagh scored 22
