MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA – The Manchester-Essex Green Hornets have a solid core of returning players from their team that finished 8-2 a year ago; and, according to Coach Joe Grimes, they showed up in this past weekend’s opening day 43-18 win over the Ipswich Tigers.
The Hornets next game is a 7 p.m. game Thursday at Whittier Tech.
