Weather – National Weather Service – Hot today with highs in the low 90s. There is a chance for isolated to scattered showers/thunderstorms this afternoon mainly west of I-495.
[7 Day Forecast] A hot week is in store for southeast New England. The peak of the heat will be Thursday with near record highs around 100! It remains hot & humid on Fri with improvement for Sat. Greatest risk for scattered showers/t-storms appear to be Fri/Sat, but isolated activity possible Tue.

Salem Museum Parking Garage – The third floor parking decking Museum Place Garage has reopened to parking. The roof level parking deck remains closed as work continues on it.
NOAA Fisheries – Proposes change to North Atlantic right whale vessel speed rule to reduce lethal vessel strikes. Most vessels longer than 35 feet will need to transit below 10 knots in expanded zones off US East Coast. Public input deadline: 9/30. Info: bit.ly/3cFd24Y.

Witches Volleyball – Our annual Middle School Volleyball Camp is underway! We love seeing our future athletes learning new skills and competing hard! We’re so excited for the rest of the week!
Masconomet Boys Soccer – Had the pleasure of working a U23 college program with these Masco Soccer alum all summer.
North Reading Field Hockey – 35 athletes, 13 NRFH coaches and one first day of field hockey fun! Grades K-8 came out for our annual North Reading Youth Field Hockey Clinic. Another three days ahead of learning and applying new skills!
