Gloucester Fire Department Report on Beacon Marine Fire
UPDATE – According to Gloucester Times reporter Andrea Holbrook, the fire at Beacon Marine Basin, 211 East Main Street, Gloucester, “has displaced around 15 people.”
GLOUCESTER – Firefighters from Gloucester, Rockport, Beverly, and Hamilton worked to put out a 3-alarm fire at the Beacon Marine Building in East Gloucester today Firefighters were called to the scene before 8 a.m., and with the aid of Gloucester Harbormaster’s firefighting boat, remained at the scene as of mid-morning Thursday.
There are no reports of injuries.
