Salem, MA – Recently, the Salem Board of Health has seen an increase in COVID-19 cases in the city. The 7-day daily average is approximately 25 new cases per day. Salem Hospital has around 20 COVID-positive patients admitted to the hospital. Additionally, there is a general increase in COVID in the wastewater in Salem.
While this information may not seem concerning, the Board of Health views this data as a troubling trend. As such, the Salem Board of Health is strongly advising that residents consider taking the preventative measures, we know help slow the spread of COVID-19.

- Getting a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if you have not already done so.
