LYNN (Tuesday) -Thomas Tully, 22, was arraigned today in Lynn District Court in connection with the fatal stabbing of his father Michael Tully, 58(please note the age I provided last night was incorrect).
He is charged with murder, assault & battery with a dangerous weapon and assault & battery.
Judge Jean Curran ordered the defendant held without bail. The case is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on May 31st.
Judge Curran allowed ADA Jennifer Capone’s motion to impound the police report and search warrant return for 60 days while the case is investigated.
Attorney Rajarshi Sinha represents the defendant, who is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
LYNN (Monday) – At approximately 551 pm Monday, Lynn Police responded to 36 Myrtle Street for a reported stabbing. A 63 year old male was transported to Salem Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Suspect is in custody. The matter remains under investigation by Lynn Police, Essex State Police detectives and the Essex District Attorney’s Office.
