The Museum is marking the beginning of its 47th consecutive season with a ribbon cutting ceremony and daylong celebration on Saturday, April 30, 2022. This season also marks the beginning of Gloucester Gratis Days, offering free tours for all Gloucester residents on Tuesdays throughout the regular season. On April 30th, the ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 10 am and will be hosted by the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce. The Museum will open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm and will offer free, self-guided tours. Self-guided tours require registration which can be made online at www.hammondcastle.org prior to a visit or upon arrival at the Museum.The 2022 season schedule offers numerous opportunities to visit the historic site including weekends in April, November and December. The Museum will open daily beginning in May.
