In typical Marblehead Swampscott fashion the teams battle back and forth for almost 7 innings. Swampscott led 10-7 after 6 innings and plated 3 more in the top of the seventh and Marblehead responded with 3 of its own – but with 2 men on and two outs the game was called due to darkness.
Both teams had there ups and down with 14 hits for Swampscott and 12 for Marblehead – Marblehead had four errors to Swampscott’s two.
Marblehead looks to get back on track against Winthrop Friday afternoon at 4 pm.
