GLOUCESTER – Former Gloucester City Councilor Greg Verga has announced that he is now a candidate for the Mayor’s office, challenging incumbent Mayor Sefata Romeo-Theken in this year’s local elections. Verga, who also previously served on the Gloucester School Committee, had originally taken out papers to run for City Councilor at-large.
In the interview below, Verga discusses some of his reasons for seeking the mayor’s office.
