Ipswich High Varsity May 7, 2021 Softball team defeated Georgetown 6 – 5 walk-off win.
Highlights:
Senior Captain Rowan Galanis went 3 for 4
Freshman Kate Bekeritis went 2 for 3 with a double and triple
Freshman Annabel Morris pitched her first Varsity game going 6 strong innings.
Caroline Spencer doubled in the gap to score Kate Bekeritis for the winning run to end the game for a 6-5 victory for the Tigers.
Lexi James played a tremendous game at shortstop making some huge plays to keep the game close.
Maddy Richard started the 7 with a pitch hit single which started the comeback for the win.
