Endicott Women’s Tennis Stifles Curry, 9-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women’s tennis team defeated Curry College, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Courts.

In doubles action, Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Fernanda Trevino (Dallas, Texas), earned an 8-4 win at No. 1, and Jennifer Stone (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) and Cameron Foley (Lynnfield, Mass.), eased to an 8-3 win at No. 2.

In singles, Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) earned a hard-fought 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) win at No. 1, Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) eased to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2, Clare O’Keefe (Lutz, Fla.), secured a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3, Shelby Henry (Lincoln, Neb.) dropped one game en-route to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4, and Isabela Miani (Southington, Conn.), shutout her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5.
