SALEM – The Salem COVID Neighborhood Ambassador Program, under the umbrella of Salem Together, is just getting underway in an effort to reach residents during the coronavirus pandemic to help connect them with resources ranging from vaccine appointments to job opportunities.The program is still organizing and looking for “volunteers” who will receive a modest monthly stipend, according to the coordinator of the program, Ben Shallop.
