Eligible Educators Can Register for the March 19th Clinic By Clicking Here
LYNN â Mayor Thomas McGee and the City of Lynn Department of Public Health are pleased to announce four (4) upcoming Lynn Educator Vaccination Clinics. K-12 educators, childcare workers, and staff, who live or work in Lynn are eligible to make an appointment at these clinics.
The clinics, the first of which will take place the evening of Friday, March 19th, will be held at the Breed Middle School Gym, 90 OâCallaghan Way. The City is offering these clinics to align with the Stateâs recommendation that local vaccine providers designate alternative vaccine clinics specifically for educators in an effort to return to in-person learning.
Pre-registration for these educator clinics is required and appointments are on a first come first serve basis. Once the allotted appointments for the clinic are filled, registration will be closed. Those who schedule an appointment are instructed to bring a photo ID, their health insurance card, and a signed copy of the Stateâs Self-Attestation Form with them to their appointment. Lack of a driverâs license, social security number, or insurance is not a barrier to receiving the vaccine.
The Lynn Health Department will release the pre-registration link for the remaining three (3) Educator Clinics the week of that respective clinic on the Cityâs COVID-19 Vaccine Page.
Pending confirmation of vaccine supply, those clinics will take place on the evenings of March 26th, April 2nd, and April 9th.
Educators are also able to register for appointments through the federal retail pharmacy programâs CVS website, and at the Lynn Tech Vaccination site. Additionally, the State has designated specific clinics at their 7 mass vaccination sites across the state on March 27th, April 3rd, April 10th, and April 11th. The mass vaccination site located north of Boston is at the Danvers Doubletree Hotel. Registration for the stateâs mass vaccination site is at this link.
