BOXFORD – The Masconomet Chieftains moved from being the leaders in the Cape Ann League to assuming the same position in the Northeastern Conference, finishing in a tie with Winthrop, both teams amassing amassing 19 points in 12 games.
With only a loss and a tie to Winthrop, along with a loss to Marblehead, the Chieftains did an exceptionally good job this season, both on and off the ice, according to coach Andrew Jackson
