BEVERLY – Educator and comedian Dave Rattigan is still working hard to promote comedy fund-raising throughout the area, but the current pandemic has taken a mighty toll both on fund-raising efforts and on the comedians who provide the entertainment. The comedy continues, though, with the Tuesday night specials that are on-going at Winners, Circle, Salisbury. Enjoy the comedy and donate a toy!

Dave Rattigan headlines clubs, fundraisers and corporate shows, and is an award-winning writer who has written humorous columns, essays and feature stories for many publications including The Boston Globe, Northshore magazine, People, The Robb Report, The Christian Science Monitor, and others. His standup has run on Sirius Satellite Radio, Nickmom.com, SlackerRadio.com, and RooftopComedy.com. He’s appeared in TV commercials, the 2011 film Heavy Times, and has written humorous pieces for the Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, Northshore Magazine, and others. He hosts an annual fund-raising comedy night for the Gloucester Rotary Club.
