AMESBURY – A 2-6-2 record may not seem like much to other programs, but to Amesbury High School boy’s soccer, it could be the start of something big. AHS and UNH soccer alum Maddie MacLean is in her first year as head coach of boys varsity soccer, and under her leadership, the Indians won their first Cape Ann League in 10 years after going winless overall the past 4 years in a row.
In the podcast below, Coach MacLean, a health and physical education teacher at AHS, expresses her enthusiasm for the future and her appreciation of this year’s student-athletes.
