SALEM – The message from both Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll and Destination Salem Executive Director Kate Fox for visitors who might be thinking of visiting the Witch City for some Haunted Happenings fun the next two weekends is pretty much the same: KEEP OUT! THE CITY IS CLOSED!
Well, neither was quite that rude is expressing the facts that for whatever Halloween activities might still be on in Salem, and for whatever restaurants are taking reservations for the next two weekends, everything is sold out. And there is just no room to host all the visitors who normally visit Salem in a safe, masked, socially distanced way.
