LYNN – According to Lynn School Committee member Jared Nicholson, the city of Lynn’s student-athletes, along with their parents and coaches, are growing more and more frustrated that they are not allowed to compete. Because Lynn is still in the “red zone” with a “high” percentage of confirmed COVID-19 cases, Lynn schools are not allowed to participate in the Northeastern Conference at this time.
In the podcast below with MSO News, Nicholson, however, applauds the efforts of school officials, students, parents, and the community in general in their efforts to promote safe and productive learning environments.
