LYNN (Podcast) The North Shore Navigators are scheduled to open their 2020 season Wednesday May 27th at Fraser Field in Lynn. This MSO podcast features first year manager Bob Macaluso; first year pitcher coach PJ Browne; and left handed pitcher Zach Fortuna from St. John’s Prep (Newburyport). Macaluso has coached at the college level and has coached summer ball in numerous locations including Alaska and the Cape Cod League for over 30 years. Browne graduated from Merrimack College in 2018 and set program records in wins (18), strikeouts (266) and innings pitched (256.1). The Navigator pitching staff is hoping for good things this summer from St. John’s Prep senior Zach Fortuna who led the Eagles in the Super 8 Tournament last year and lives in Newburyport.
