LYNN – (Report from Essex County District Attorney’s Office) – The murder of a 47-year old Lynn man is under investigation according to Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett and Lynn Police Chief Michael MacGeary.
At approximately 9:21 last evening, Lynn Police responded to a reported robbery at 700 Washington Street. Further investigation found that suspects apparently approached the victim outside his home and forced him into their motor vehicle. They later returned to rob his home. The victim was found deceased at approximately 6:00 this morning at the corner of Essex and Baldwin Streets.
This matter remains under investigation by the Essex District Attorney’s Office, Lynn Police and the Essex State Police Detective Unit.
