(Post-Game Video, Photos) D2 North Hockey: Vittands Backstops Gloucester to 5-1 Win over Wakefield

STONEHAM ARENA – Senior goaltender Connor Vittands made 44 saves to backbone a 5-1 Gloucester Fisheman win over the Wakefield Warriors in the opening round of the D2 North MIAA Hockey Tournament Tuesday night.  EJ Field and Jeremy Abreu each scored two goals with Jack Costanzo adding the other.

Matthew Moniz was the only Warrior to get one by Vittands after Gloucester had built a 3-0 lead after two periods.

Wakefield out shot Gloucester, 45-24.
