BEVERLY (Videos – Photos) Lynn English boys basketball (17-2) defeated Beverly (15-2) 84-56 in a Northeastern Conference boys basketball showdown. Beverly suffered their first league loss tonight. Point guard Jarnel Guzman of Lynn English led all scorers with 31 points , JB Mukeba added 19 points, Kanye Wavezwa scored 14 points. Beverly was led by a 17 point performance from Duncan Moreland, falling 14 points shy of a career 1,000 point mark he could reach next week. Austin Ayer added 13 points for the Panthers.
