SWAMPSCOTT (Video – Photos) The Swampscott boys basketball team (6-6) defeated Gloucester (8-4) Tuesday night 54-44. The Big Blue were lead by Andrew Augustin (13 points) including three 3 pointers. Cam O’Brien and Oscar Hale each added 10 points. Gloucester was led by a 20 point performance from Marcus Montagnino, 14 points in the second half. Swampscott led at the end of the first quarter (17-4), at the half (29-14), and after three quarters (45-25). In the fourth quarter Swampscott led 50-31 but the Fishermen went on a 10-0 run to close to nine points (50-41) with a little over 2 minutes to play.
