Endicott’s Jalen Echevarria (Lynn) Earns League Rookie of the Week Honors
BEVERLY — Endicott men’s basketball student-athlete Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the second time in as many weeks and third time this season the league office announced earlier today.
Echevarria averaged 18.0 points this week as the Gulls closed out 2019 with a pair of non-conference victories. The freshman guard recorded 21 points on 6-for-11 (54.5 percent) shooting in an 88-85 win over Williams on Sunday, December 29. He followed that up with a 15-point, three-rebound performance in Endicott’s 94-71 win over Clark on December 30.
