We R Danvers
Thank You To The Danvers Rotary! The Danvers Rotary Club has donated 10 LifeVac airway-clearance devices, valued at approximately $1,000, to the Danvers Police Department. The portable, non-powered devices are designed to help remove foreign objects from a choking victim’s airway when standard first-aid measures are unsuccessful. The devices will be placed in frontline police cruisers, with officers receiving training on their use. They are intended to supplement—not replace—established first-aid procedures.

Photo fun! Last week we had a visit by students from the Big Picture Art House program in Boston. Cassie Anderson, CAM’s Head Librarian & Archivist, shared examples of technologies from a variety of historical periods, and the group explored photography in the galleries.
