Peabody Spring Cleanup Saturday, May 2nd

The annual Peabody Pride Spring Cleanup has been scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd. Volunteers are invited to City Hall
beginning at 10:00am to pick up free cleaning supplies and then fan out to targeted areas
throughout Peabody.

“This year’s Spring Cleanup continues our community tradition of bringing residents together to
care for the neighborhoods we all share,” said Mayor Ted Bettencourt. “It’s a simple but meaningful
way to show pride in our city and help keep Peabody looking its best.”

Those who cannot make it to City Hall on May 2nd are still encouraged to participate in the
cleanup. Simply choose an area of town that needs some TLC and collect litter and debris in trash
bags. Then, contact the mayor’s community cleanup hotline at 978-538-5700 or email
mayor@peabody-ma.gov with the location of the bags. Department of Public Services personnel
will come to pick them up.
