MARBLEHEAD – The 15th Larry McIntire IAABO Board 130 Classic will be played Feb. 15-16 at Marblehead High School.
The tournament, which is named for the late Big East referee and longtime assigner for several high school leagues and the MIAA tournament, returns to Marblehead for the fifth year.
The girls bracket includes Reading, North Andover, Peabody and Marblehead.
The boys bracket consists two-time defending champ Bedford, Cathedral, Gloucester and Marblehead.
One boys player and one girls player will receive a $1,000 scholarship presented by IAABO Board 130 in the name of Larry McIntire. Since its inception in 2011, the tournament has raised more than $57,000 for scholarships and Officials vs. Cancer, an initiative that started in 2008 and has raised almost $3 million for the American Cancer Society.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Only MIAA passes will be accepted.
