Girls’ Soccer
HW girls’ soccer coach Nancy Waddell– The Generals travelled to Georgetown and the Royals did everything they could to slow down the Generals offense. HW won the shot count 19-3, but the Royals didn’t break. One of the best chances came on a free kick in the second half, taken outside the box by senior defender Lilly Giovannucci. Giovannucci drilled the ball on net, but the keeper got a hand to it and pushed it out of bounds for a corner kick.
Sophomore goalie Olive Bevilacqua secured the shutout with 3 saves.
The Generals (8-0-2) will face Triton on Tuesday at home.
