Planned Power Outage Notification – Tuesday, September 23

National Grid has scheduled a planned power outage in Gloucester on Tuesday, September 23, from approximately 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This outage is necessary to upgrade the electric system and maintain long-term reliability.

The outage will affect parts of Gloucester, including—but not limited to—the following streets:

Armstrong Way, Daniel Roy Rd, Ferry St, Glenmore Ave, Harvey Pl, Marsh St, Old Ford Rd, Perrywinkle Ln, Squam Ln, Sunset Hill Rd, Trenel Way, Trenel Cove Rd, Wolf Hill Rd and a section of Washington St.

National Grid has notified all affected customers directly. Please plan accordingly and take any necessary precautions during this time.

We’re excited to announce that Select Board meeting packets will now be available to residents online the Friday prior to each meeting! This new service is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and to make it easier for residents to stay informed and follow along with the topics and decisions being discussed at upcoming Select Board meetings.

How to Access the Packets:

Residents can view the meeting packets by navigating to Government > Select Board, and selecting Meeting Packets from the left-hand menu.
Alternatively, packets can be accessed directly at: https://www.danversma.gov/DocumentCenter/Index/689

The Town is also working toward making additional Board and Committee packets available online in the near future.
