SALEM – Mayor Dominick Pangallo and the City of Salem Bicycling and Shared Path Committee are pleased to announce the return of the Fourth of July Bike Parade to the Salem Common!
On Friday, July 4th, families and friends in the community are invited to join in the revival of this beloved annual tradition after a break of several years.
At 11:00am, bring your bike, scooter, stroller, or wheelchair, etc. to the Salem Common Playground with plans and festive and creative supplies to decorate yours alongside other families doing the same (pre-decorated bikes are also welcome!).
At 12:00pm noon, the parade around the perimeter of the Salem Common will begin!
At approximately 12:30pm following the parade, there will be a bike rodeo/bike safety class at O’Donnell’s Funeral Home parking lot (84 Washington Square), led by the team from Habanero Cycles of Salem. All are welcome.
