City of Salem invites Community to Volt & Vibe: An Eco-Rider Showcase

SALEM – Mayor Dominick Pangallo and the City of Salem invite the community to attend Volt & Vibe: An Eco-Rider Showcase, an e-bike and personal electric vehicle (PEV) expo on Sunday, June 29th, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Salem State University.

“This showcase is a great way for people to try something new and explore alternatives modes of transportation,” said Mayor Pangallo, “It is another example of Salem’s ongoing efforts to reduce emissions, traffic, and congestion, and make it easier to get around the city in a healthy and fun way. I am grateful to City of Salem staff members who are working hard to coordinate this event, and to community partners planning to participate in sharing information with the public on this important topic.  I encourage all members of the Salem community to attend this fun event and consider giving electric vehicles and/or bikes a try!”
