Monday, June 2: ICE Agents Were in Gloucester Friday…Peabody Mayor Has a New Challenger

Traffic Alert from MassDOT 🚧
MassDOT will be conducting overnight lane closures on Route 133 (Essex Avenue) in Gloucester starting Sunday, June 1 through Friday, June 13.
🛣️ Location: Route 133 (Essex Ave) between Route 128 and the Essex town line
🕗 Time: Nightly from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Sunday through Friday)
This work is part of a pavement resurfacing project being performed by D&R General Contractors under a District-Wide Resurfacing contract.
🔄 Two-way traffic will be maintained whenever possible, but alternating traffic and detours may be used to complete the work safely.
🚔 Law enforcement and signage will be on-site to help guide drivers through the work zone.
⚠️ Expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution when traveling in the area. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Lock your car! Although we have made four related arrests, there have been 25 incidents of motor vehicle breaks so far this month. In 22 of those 25 incidents the vehicles were left unlocked. Protect yourself by locking your vehicles and stowing valuable items.
