DANVERS – Essex Tech high school hockey coach Mark Leonard picked up his 251st win Monday with a 5-2 win over Shawsheen. He achieved the 250 mark with an 8-0 thumping of Northeast last week. With an already-Massachusetts High School Hockey Hall of Fame career achieved at Peabody High School, coach Leonard continues piling up the wins at Essex Tech, where the Hawks are currently 2-0-0 in Commonwealth Conference play and 6-1-2 overall.
The Hawks are scheduled to host Greater Lowell/Nashoba Tech Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
